About our Pastor and Founder

Dr. Levi Webb is Pastor and Founder of Covenant (Brit) Ministries, Inc., Brit Congregation, Brit Ministries International Fellowship of Pastors & Ministers, Covenant Bible College (CBC), Levi Webb Ministries, Brit Publishing, Covenant Bookstore & Gift Shop, located in the heart of Essex (Baltimore County), Maryland. He was born in 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland and was united in Holy matrimony with his lovely bride, Sheila Renee Webb, in 1976 and is the father of four wonderful children – Aaron, Latarsha, [Mr. and Mrs.] Levi II, and [Mr. and Mrs.] Dominic. In addition, his two nephews, [Mr. and Mrs.] Douglas Squire and Timothy Squire, are as sons to him. He has also been wondrously blessed with four granddaughters: Shayla, Taylor, Sireneti, and Sydney, and five grandsons, Dominic II, Darius, Donovan, Daniel, and Levi III.

Each and everyday for two years (1976-1978), he shared the Good News of our Lord and Savior and lead people into a personal relationship with our Lord; thereby fulfilling the call – “Follow me, and I will make your fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).

In 1978, he began teaching how to have victory over life’s problems and Satan, through God’s Word. Levi taught in the Baltimore City prison system for a number of years and later God inspired him to establish a Bible study in his home, which grew to standing room only. Then, the Lord directed him into “doing the work of an evangelist” – teaching in congregations along the East Coast. He also worked closely under the pastorship of the late Richard W. Phillips of Faith Christian Center in Baltimore, Maryland and graduated from their two-year Bible course and taught at their Zoe Bible Training School.

To further his cause in the work of God, he later taught at Rivers of Life Bible Training School for many years. He also received numerous certificates from various institutions and completed his Doctoral Degree from Kentucky College of Contemporary Religion in Lexington, Kentucky.

After being associated with and making valuable contributions to various congregations and Bible colleges, Levi Webb stepped out to fulfill other facets of his calling. Pastoring the Maryland congregation, which he established in 1985 during Passover season, hosting his own radio broadcast as well as co-hosting with various other ministries, teaching Bible College, establishing and overseeing many congregations, cultivating a worldwide tape and book ministry, and preaching the Good News are just a few of his contributions. 

Minister Sheila Webb has also been called of God into ministry to lead women and making a difference in their lives, as she shares practical and spiritual wisdom in seminars geared specifically toward women, both locally and abroad. She also supports the work and vision which God has given her husband, as she works side-by-side with him in a full-time capacity. In addition, she has received her Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Covenant Bible College in Baltimore, Maryland.  

As an author, musician, and psalmist, Dr. Levi Webb, along with his wife Sheila, has a vision to teach God’s Word with the help of the Holy Spirit, and make it a reality in the lives of people. A part of their vision includes teaching Revelation, Faith, Battle of the Mind, Singles, Men’s & Women’s, Family, Emotional Healing, Marriage, Leadership and various other seminars. Their ultimate desire is to see people live and obey God’s Word so that it (the Word) can be made alive in them. 

In all they do, they strive for an excellent spirit, while lifting up a standard for the King.
